Delete your account

Meal Planner account and data deletion.

Delete inside the app

  1. Sign into Meal Planner.
  2. Open Menu and select the account area showing your name.
  3. Open Account controls and select Delete account.
  4. Read the warning, type the displayed confirmation phrase and select Delete permanently.

Family administrator warning

Deleting the family administrator account permanently deletes the shared planner, shopping list, meal ideas, family picture and managed child profiles. Other adult accounts remain active but are removed from the family.

What is deleted

  • The Meal Planner authentication account.
  • The user profile and optional profile picture.
  • The user's family membership.
  • Local planner information on the device performing deletion.
  • The private Google Drive planner file when Google Drive access is connected during deletion.
  • For a family administrator, the shared family information and managed child profiles.

Request deletion without app access

Email the address below from the email account registered with Meal Planner. Use the subject "Meal Planner account deletion request". Additional information may be requested solely to verify ownership before deletion.

Request account deletion

Requests are normally completed within 30 days. Some short-lived security or operational logs may remain for a limited period where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance or service integrity.
